Jan 20, 2026
Strap in, Marvel fans—because 2026 is shaping up to be an absolute superhero buffet. In this episode of The Marvelous Side of Disney, Ric and Luis take a fast-paced, fun look ahead at what the MCU has cooking for the year, from Disney+ series to massive theatrical releases. We talk binge-worthy shows like Wonder Man, gritty one-shots like The Punisher special, the return of street-level heroes with Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, and the animated hype train that is X-Men ’97 Season 2. Throw in Vision Quest, more Spider-Man, and animated Spidey goodness, and suddenly your 2026 calendar is completely booked.
But let’s be honest—everything is building toward one cosmic-level collision: Avengers: Doomsday. With legacy heroes, new teams, multiverse chaos, and Doctor Doom entering the chat, expectations are sky-high and hype levels are off the charts. We break down what we know, what we’re guessing wildly about, and what we’re just emotionally preparing ourselves for. It’s a future-focused episode full of speculation, excitement, nostalgia, and just enough nerd chaos to keep things interesting.
